Project Engineer

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, highly qualified Project Engineer/Product Designer at the earliest possible date. 

Your tasks

After a supervised familiarisation phase, you will be responsible for the design and development of assemblies through to complete machines or systems for processing, packaging or robot automation, in particular for the confectionery industry. 
As a project manager, you must be a good team player, communicating with our customers, suppliers and in-house departments. You will be independently responsible for your project from the time the order is placed to the moment the installed device enters operation. Your responsibilities also include the creation and development of system layouts for customer-specific requests. Your final duty is to issue requisition notes to the purchasing department once the required components have been identified. 

Your qualifications

You have successfully completed a university degree (Dipl.Ing.) in mechanical engineering, ideally with a focus on design. In addition, you have several years of experience as a designer and/or project manager in the area of product development, in particular in tackling customer-specific requests. The ability to create technical drawings and produce cost-conscious designs is imperative. You can work proficiently with Solidworks and MS Office. A good command of English and a timely, structured and precise working style round off your personal profile.
